Body and Soul Spa's owner, Jadranka Medic, was born, raised and trained in Europe, and her spa reflects both her European heritage and her uncanny ability to keep her finger on the pulse of state-of-the-art beauty technology and modern pampering offerings.  The space itself is decorated in a muted, earthy palette and boasts a luxurious and welcoming Jacuzzi tub, multi-jet rain showers and a sauna that guests can slip into before a spa body treatment, such as the Sugar Butter Body Polish or Mud Wrap.

My day at Body and Soul Spa began with the Oxy Ultimate Facial. This facial calls upon GM Collin products, a line exclusively used by professional technicians. After a skin type evaluation, the facial includes the typical steam, extractions, cleansing, masks and exfoliators, but ups the ante with an oxygen-infused mask (which helps kill bacteria and encourages hydration), a nourishing serum that's applied with ultrasound technology to deeply penetrate the pores, plus optional microdermabrasion.

The esthetician explained each step thoroughly, without being overbearing or wordy to take away from my state of Zen. Just when I thought I couldn't feel more relaxed, the Indian facial massage, long, firm facial strokes with an emphasis on specific points on the face, began. When the treatment was over, I was given a few moments to collect myself before gently being guided to another treatment room for a 30-minute Ultra Sonic Body Shaping Therapy anti-cellulite treatment.

Body and Soul Spa has the latest equipment to help keep fat and unsightly cellulite at bay, including Ultrasonic Body Shaping Therapy, which uses ultrasound and infrared technology to penetrate deeply into cells to break up fat and get the blood and lymphatic system flowing. The Ultrasonic Body Shaping Therapy is completely painless and surprisingly relaxing.
