I took a seat on the retro, round couch while I waited for my stylist. Shortly thereafter, I was greeted by the head stylist and part owner. Mary, knew exactly what I needed to snap my fine hair into color and shape for the winter months ahead. After a thorough consultation and careful explanation of her intentions, we decided to enrich the look of my brunette hair with deep color and shine. The stylist explained her expertise in cutting hair for over 39 years. After my color and shine settled in, it was time for the wash and cut. At the shampoo station, I experienced one of the best head massages I have ever had. Using Kevin Murphy products, my head was intensely massaged and my hair was moisturized and cleaned down to the roots. Another added perk was the hair products smelled absolutely fabulous on my pampered tresses. Making my way to the front of the salon where my hair would be shaped and styled, I followed the glittery, red floor. That's right, glittery red with retro white chairs. The perfect touch to a salon with an industrial, upscale atmosphere. The stylist knew that my last cut involved point cutting, and I was not too pleased with the final outcome on my fine layers. Coming to my rescue, she evened out the cut and rounded off my layers, making it easier for me to dry and curl my hair without losing any body. When it was all said and done, the passion and care that the stylists have for their clients at A Go Go was prevalent in the outcome of my hair. A Go Go Salon is not only trendy but also consistent.
